Can the GOP win control of the Legislature?

With the deadline for filing to run for the Legislature looming next week, the control of

both houses is up for grabs again. Do Republicans have a legitimate chance to win control of one or both houses? Or will Mainers continue to elect Democrats? What should be the GOP's platform to win legislative seats? Is the anti-Baldacci sentiment enough? What

would Republicans do differently, given the loss of tax revenue because of the recession?

Is the current state of the state the fault of Democrats? Or forces beyond their control?
